Billing Account

A Billing Account holds the monetary balance for an organization. Every provisioned resource meters usage and draws down this balance. The account is created together with the organization; it has no configurable spec — you read its balance and top it up.

Key concepts

• Balance — the current funds available, in rubles (status.rubBalance); resource usage draws it down continuously

• No spec — the account carries only metadata (its name) and status; there is nothing to configure at create time

• One per organization — created automatically with the organization; a zero balance blocks creating new resources, and a negative balance blocks both creating and modifying resources (support tickets are exempt from this restriction either way)

Parameters
UI Name API / kc name Terraform name Optional Format Default Is read only Description
Balance status.rubBalance status.rub_balance — decimal — RUB — Yes Current account balance in rubles
Two caveats: the common status.pricing fields (shown under "All fields") are meaningless for a Billing Account — they would report the resource's own cost, which is zero; the account balance above is what matters. And the console's billing page offers much more than the API exposes here — top-ups, on-demand invoices, downloadable monthly closing documents (acts), transaction history, and per-resource charge breakdowns.
How to top up the balance

Top-ups are done in the console on the organization's billing account page (the Billing section) - no support ticket is needed. There are two ways:

1. By bank card - enter the amount and click "Replenish via bank card". The money reaches the balance within 10 minutes. The card is saved and auto top-up is switched on automatically - you can turn it off with the "Auto top-up" switch on the same page.

2. By invoice (companies and sole proprietors) - once, fill in "Company name", "TIN" and "Legal address" and click "Save". Then enter the amount and click "Generate invoice" - a PDF invoice is downloaded. Pay it from the company's bank account. The payment is credited automatically by the payer's TIN from these details (or by the agreement number in the payment purpose), usually within 5 days.

The same page shows the top-up and charge history and the monthly closing documents (acts).

Examples

The account has no spec, so the useful operation is reading the balance.
